Dedicated to capturing that powerful bond between horse and owner, Shaun Barr Photography creates equestrian photo shoots that beautifully showcase the character and personality of your horse and that special connection shared between horse and rider.

With many years of horse photography experience, a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, each photo session is created to capture those priceless moments which allow the essence of the equestrian relationship to shine through with captivating images you will want to treasure.

Every horse and owner photo shoot is tailored to meet the requirements of both horse and owner, who I consider to be a team.

Taking into consideration breed, character and age, the photo shoot will be based around your own preferences as well as the individualities of your horse. My aim is to make all shoots as relaxed and informal as possible.

Stables and adjoining paddocks are an obvious choice but other locations are also an option if you prefer — from rides along the beach to woodland settings; there is so much scope to be able to capture you and your horse within some stunning settings.

All horse and owner photo shoots can combine both portraits, in hand, as well as action riding shots.

Where Do Horse and Owner Shoots Take Place?

We can meet at your stables and do the photos shoot from there, or directly on location, whichever you prefer. Mileage within 30 miles of Ulverston is included, after which a small charge to cover travel costs applies.
